Animal Spirit Guides are from this realm, so our realm is their own! However, they do have a little pocket realm within the astral for other Animal Spirit Guides to hang out and converse with especially for those still waiting to find who they will guide. It’s also a good place for newer guides to gain advice on how they can best do their job.

Animal Spirit Guides value helping others above all else. Even more so, they value helping and guiding their chosen companion. While specific ideals can vary from guide to guide, the main thing is always wanting the best for their chosen companion. There are many different approaches to this, which leads to a significant amount of diversity within the species as a whole. Each guide I’ve spoken to sees this as an advantage since everyone has their own way of being helped that works best for them. Diversity is widely celebrated by this species!

As we’ve continued to build our relations with the Animal Spirit Guides, the Elders have established our Resort Realm as a “Trial Run” for new, fully-fledged guides. They come to help any guests that come through, and if they enjoy their time with us, they’re offered a spot to be fully vetted for companionship and to either join the Reverse Adoption pool or to be put up as a Preconjure!

Animal Spirit Guides often take the form of any animal found on this realm. Common forms include hounds, cats, woodland animals, etc. Despite being based on animal forms here, there are still some liberties that the guides can take with their form. For example, a certain marking or pattern that is not possible or at least very rare in our realm can commonly appear on the guides. They are not able to shift into humanoid forms.
